To say that RedeApp Communities is a powerful communication tool is an understatement.
We have learned much over the last decade about both the promise and the pitfalls of "social media style" communication platforms. RedeApp's attempt with Communities was to preserve the benefits of an open communication paradigm but also provide the necessary means to allow moderation and transparency for those within an organization entrusted with maintaining communication civility in a digital world. To that end, there are various roles within Communities.
Below is a list of Communities Roles and the functionality allowed based on permissions.
| Master Admin | a person who has access to manage all RedeApp network features like Members and Guests Access, Communities, Files, Forms, Analytics, etc. | |
| Community Admin | a person who can access and moderate all communities (both public and private) in a RedeApp network | |
| Moderator | a person who can edit or delete all posts, comments, and replies for the communities which they moderate | |
| Author | a person who creates a post in a community. | |
| People | a collection of either members and guests, depending on the community's access configuration. | |
