An overview of the Messages Tab:
1:1 vs Teams - Whats the Difference?
Different kinds of conversations call for different types of communication. Your Messages inbox within RedeApp will be the home to two types of communication. 1:1 messages and Teams messages.
So, whats the difference? A 1:1 message is a direct message between you and another member of your network. A Teams message is a group chat where every member of the conversation receives every reply.
The Anatomy of Composing a Message:
When you tap to select a message, you enter the thread of messages between you and that person or team. When you are insides of a message thread you have the ability to interact with the conversation as well as that user's profile. Team's messages operate similarly, being able to view the individual profile's of the members of that team.
Keep in mind that if you delete a message, that deletion is permanent. This message is only reflected in the thread of the user who deleted the message.
Shoud a message need to be retrieved, it can be done at a network level by request of a network admin. If you are an admin and need help with message retraction or retrieval, please reach out to support@redeapp.com.
Marking a Thread within your RedeApp Messages Inbox:
Swipe the message thread to the right to mark a message thread as read or to flag a message thread. Swipe to the left to mute the conversation thread or to delete the conversation thread entirely. When you mark a message, that conversation thread will be marked with an indicator that reflects the option you have chosen.
